Polymer clay artisan brooch, Acorn brooch pin
Handmade brooch from polymer clay. For this particular piece I used Premo! Accents. After forming the brooch, I hand-painted the top with gold mica powder and black chalk pastel. I sanded the black polymer clay to a very smooth finish and sealed everything with a layer of gloss varnish. The brooch base is firmly glued with epoxy resin. The brooch measures 4 X 3 cm (1.5 X 1.1 inches).
