I have designed and created this gorgeous Sparkly Dark Brown Brooch in yellow, orange, and brown, with silver-plated brooch pin; it is hand-drawn with permanent pen and coloured pencils on frosted shrink plastic, then shrunk using a heat tool, and assembled. It measures approx 5.0cms x 3.5cms

OOAK Wire Wrapped Copper Leaf Brooch barrette shawl pin
Inspired by the warmth of the sun and seeing the beautiful colors reflecting from the leaves on a fall day in Indiana. I hand created this wire wrapped Copper Leaf Shawl-Brooch Pin which can also be used as a Hair Barrette. Using pure copper wire I chose the beautiful warm rich colors of different shades of raspberry on sparkling crystals that are AB coated on one side in the copper color blending them so well with the copper wire. I used a mixture of round faceted crystals,2 different colors of seed beads,small square frosted matte beads, all in different shades of raspberry. This has allowed the colors to pop and sparkle like those leaves I have seen so many times. The top of the stick pin has a swirl that has been hammered for hardening, the rest of the stick itself has been wire-wrapped. I also made a hammered swirl on each end of the leaf so that the stick pin can be inserted there. The measurements of the Brooch with the stick pin is approximately 4 1/4" in length and 1 1/8" high

As the nights gets cooler, the leaves are changing colors. I love watching the different phases of this lovely time of year. This autumn photo has been placed behind glass with a special adhesive and secured into this beautiful 30mm x 40mm wooden leaf pendant base that has been stained a fall-like yellow color. It has a pin back attached to the back. If you look closely, I have also attached a portion of a skeleton leaf on top of the leaf photo, also behind the glass.

Copper Leaf Brooch

I found these very pretty fall colored tree glass cabochons and glued them onto two antique pin pads and glued some antique brass complex pin backings so you can celebrate Fall with these on your sweater and coat! The complex pin backing lock so they are less likely to come off. I believe that they have some nickel in them but in a low quantity. The largest pin with the heart shaped tree measures 40mm (about 1-1/2inches) long by 35mm (about 1-1/4 inches) and the smallest pin measures 26mm (about 1 inch) in diameter.
