Eco Print Infinity Scarf - Lightweight Scarf -
This infinity scarf is made from soft Blue Faced Leicester wool that has been blended with tussah silk. The silk adds a lovely sheen to the wool. This is a one of a kind scarf, and was created using a wet felting technique. Wet felting is one of several methods which can produce felt from wool or other animal fibers. It was made as a cobweb wet felted scarf. Cobweb scarves are ethereally light, with some sections of the scarf being so thin you can see through them; but like their spidery inspiration they are among the most durable and strong scarves out there. Then I eco printed the scarf with eucalyptus leaves. The eucalyptus leaves an intense shade of orange when printed onto the wool creating a very striking print . The drape of this woven scarf is amazing, you can wear it so many ways. Wear a piece of nature all season long!

Hand felted silk and merino wool 'Autum Leaves Shawl'
Inspired by falling leaves in autumn, this handmade one of a kind shawl is created using 100% merino wool, 100% silk chiffon and mulberry silk fibres. The shawl is very soft, lightweight, and drapes beautifully. It measures approximately 56 x 205cm. This unique handmade wrap is made by nuno felting. The fibres from a stunning range of dyed 100% merino wools were 'painted' onto the silk, and then wet felted. This involves soapy water and lots of rubbing, rolling, squeezing, throwing, and then finally, washing.

The scarf is made of habotai. Habotai is a little heavier smooth silk. The scarf is, made in a single copy, hand-painted and decorated with golden gutta. As a paint an acid-dye is used, which is fixed with steam. This results in a scarf, which falls smoothly to the shoulders.
