These handmade pottery dishes will make the perfect gift or treat for yourself! A burnt orange "give thanks"and leaf design adorns these adorable little dishes. This piece starts out from a fresh lump of clay which I roll out by hand. Then, I use lace, stamps and other found objects to impress the design into the clay. Finally, I cut out and smooth all the rough edges. The piece is then fired in the kiln and after it cools, I hand paint the bisque piece with a glaze using a dry - brush technique. It is once more fired in the kiln. Made with my loving hands from start to finish! The perfect gift!
