In this method of felting the fibres are laid out over a circular resist, encasing the resist completely. The silk fibres are also incorporated at this stage. The "packet" is then wetted, soaped and carefully felted so as not to disturb the fibres. Before the process is completed the resist is cut out and then the shaping begins. This is a long process, rubbing, rolling and reshaping the item until it is structurally sound and the required size. Shabby Chic Vases in Red, Yellow and Jute Wrap
This listing is for a Made to Order set of Shabby Chic Vases in a set of three, done in Country Red, Sunny Yellow, and one Jute Wrapped. Perfect for rustic centerpiece display, shabby chic theme, country/farmhouse decor, wedding decor. The set you receive will be similar but not exact to the ones shown in the photo. The painted vases are done in shabby chic style, and the yellow also has a little understated jute embellishment to add a more rustic look. The paint is distressed, then sealed with a clear coat for protection. They are not painted on the inside, so can hold water for fresh floral arrangements. They are also perfect for dried flowers, silk flowers, and alone just making a statement! The largest vase measures 9 1. inches tall, 5 inches across the top. The middle sized vase measures 8 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches across the top and the smallest vase measures 6 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches across the top. Again, this is an approximation of the size you will receive.

I thought this bud vase resembled a cob of corn, so I turned it into one with my magic paintbrush. Autumn colors abound in the plump kernels snugly wrapped in its husk of greens. Use it to display fresh, dried or artificial flowers. This unique upcycled glass bud vase stands 8 inches tall. It was baked in my oven to cure and is signed by me on the bottom. I took a glass vase and started dripping and pressing different hues and shades of orange and red around in the vase. Each vase I make is hand painted, and a journey into the unknown. I start with a general idea of what I would like to create, but allow myself to paint without limits, going wherever my brush takes me. With this piece I just kept adding more and more elements, while working with rich, autumn hues. I used warm tones of yellow, orange, and brown, highlighted by the beautiful green leaves. The golden finish gives this vase an amazing elegant quality that is even more impressive in person!

Vase was created using a new technique of applying dried plasticized metallic paint. The glass is stained a mottled brown mixed gold vertical stripes. The base is a bright metallic gold. The design is reminiscent of the Art Deco Period. Vase is 7.25" high by 4.0" long by 3.25" wide.

This ceramic vase has two faces, so to speak. One face is rather organic and maybe more abstract. The other face is a basket weave - more traditional. So, whatever mood you may be in, this vase may help you express yourself that day. The colors are more autumn-like, being a brown, with a hint of blue and a deep, rich red to add accent. As the picture shows, it can be used to place flowers in, real or dried. You could also use it to store kitchen utensils in as well. Hence, the duel face/purpose of this vessel. This beautiful vase is hand painted with orange, yellow, and brown white flowers all around. I hand painted these flowers with enamel glass paint and they are heat set for durability. I recommend hand washing in warm water. Since these items are hand painted, no two are exactly alike.

Small Hand Blown Glass Bud Vase - Egg Shape with Fall Color Swirls
This warm color blend has become one of my mainstays. I made it a point to do a run with this for the fall color / harvest season. I offer it here in a simple egg form, smaller in scale with long streaks twisted at random. This pattern seems to work equally well back-lit or spot-lit, making it suitable for display in a variety of locations. This piece actually has more clear showing through than usual, which I find refreshing and rather groovy. There are wisps of red, orange and bright, semi-opaque "crown" yellow. There is also of course the solid yellow lip accent. As with all my works, this began in a tank of molten clear glass at 2120ºF. Color application and shaping all occurred somewhere between 1000º and 2000º. All colors come from the venerable Reichenbach and Kugler factories in Germany. All photos are of the actual item you will receive. 5 1/2 x 3 3/8" - Signed and dated.

Color application and shaping all occurred somewhere between 1000º and 2000º. All colors come from the venerable Reichenbach and Kugler factories in Germany. 5 1/4 x 4" - Signed and dated.

Set of vases from small to large. Beautiful bouquet of autumn leaves
This series of small to large I have designed and consists of white-formed over which a transparent glaze. The design, painted with under-glaze, is inspired by the current autumn winter days. The leaves are almost digested but in some places, there is still a glimmer of leaf green. The form of the vases is an open previous chalice. This beautiful flower arrangements can be made and in the larger colorful tulips beautiful.

Vase
This vase started out as a plain glass thrift store find. I used a thin paper decoupage method to cover and then applied an antiquing stain in a way as to give a very rustic look to the background. I glued on dried fall Adirondack leaves that I collected last year. The leaves are well sealed and another coat of antiquing stain/sealer is applied overall. I added a twine bow to complete the rustic fall look. The vase measures 9" tall, the opening at top is 4 1/2" diameter, and the circumference around the widest part of vase is 16". The vase can be gently wiped with a damp cloth to clean and is best suited for dried arrangements. Lighted branches with fall leaves would look wonderful in this vase.
